Overview
Patrickswell GAA needed to raise funds for a new pitch and upgraded facilities. Their car raffle, featuring a Toyota C-HR Hybrid, had to go beyond ‘just another draw’ and capture the imagination of supporters and sports enthusiasts.
Challenge
To highlight hurling, not just a flashy car, and communicate the long-term benefits for the club. It was vital to show potential buyers that every ticket helped shape future generations of GAA talent.
Patrickswell GAA was built on the pride and tradition of Limerick hurling. So we took to the pitch ourselves.
Together, we reimagined “just another car raffle” into something far more daring. We transformed iconic players Cian Lynch, Aron Gillane and Diarmaid Byrnes into living, breathing ‘Cyborgs’ blending hurling grit with the cutting-edge Toyota C-HR Hybrid. One bold line said it all: “Where Hurling and Hybrid Collide.” No boring ticket sales pitch -just raw athleticism fused with future-forward tech.
The campaign took off the moment it launched. On social media. Around town. On every hurling pitch and roadside banner. More events. More buzz. Because this raffle wasn’t just about winning a car – it was about fuelling the next generation of GAA legends.
THANKS TO
Cian, Aron, Diarmaid, Claire, Mike, the Patrickswell GAA committee, and everyone who helped us merge hurling and hybrid into something unforgettable.
